We are pleased to announce that the FREE Players Drum Corps will perform at the 2015 Allentown Eastern Classic on Friday, July 31.

The FREE Players Drum Corps are one of the very first Special Needs Drum Corps to exist in the world. The Corps is comprised of 3 sections, a Drumline, Color Guard and Front Ensemble. The Corps is from Old Bethpage NY, and is based out of Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) Theater Day Habilitation Program. They strive to show that they share the same passion for the marching arts as their typical mainstream peers. They hope to continue to make history, alleviate prejudice, break down boundaries and show that everyone can communicate through music.

In the past 4 years the Drum Corps has performed all across Long Island NY. In 2013 they performed in Walt Disney World and became the very 1st Special Needs group to perform at the Newsday Marching Band Festival in it’s 51 year history. In April of 2014 they made history again, as the very 1st special needs group to perform in exhibition at the WGI (Winter Guard International) World Championships in Dayton Ohio.
